This is one of the reason we administrators like to withhold administrative rights on corporate systems is that your local problem can become everyone’s problem in no time without you even knowing it.

I would suggest that just because you’ve been industrious enough to install your own operation system, applications, and hardware; you are likely more of a liability to a business network then someone who knows nothing.
